Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated phlebotomist who is comfortable relocating to a new location opening in January 2027. This role involves drawing blood samples and obtaining other specimens from patients, ensuring accurate preparation for testing.

Responsibilities

+ Collect blood samples through venipuncture, heel, or finger stick.

+ Obtain urine and other specimens from patients.

+ Prepare specimens for in-house testing or send-out to reference labs.

+ Perform receptionist and other clerical duties as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Phlebotomy skills with at least 1 year of experience preferred.

+ Completion of a phlebotomy program.

+ Proficiency in laboratory and medical procedures.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a clinical setting is advantageous.

Work Environment

This position operates Monday through Friday with hours between 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
