McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN/RN for its Adult Medicine department in Ames. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities- Rooming patients
- Taking vitals and patient history
- Patient interaction in-person, on chart and on the phone
- Medication refills
- Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA
- Possession of current State Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Possession of a current State Registered Nurse license.
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- Days:
Monday & Tuesday; flexible Wednesday, Thursday & Friday job share - Hours:
Monday 8 AM - Noon, Tuesday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Job Share Wednesday - Friday
- Clinic experience preferred.
- EMR experience preferred.
