Position OverviewWe are hiring a full-time Field Services Technician to join our COMP-Score RT implementation team. In this role, you will work hands-on with advanced instrumentation, hardware installation, and field support systems that improve construction quality verification. You will install and support our systems on customer compaction equipment, both at our new facility in Boone, IA, and at active infrastructure projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities- Install COMP-Score RT systems on customer construction equipment (compactors)
- Set up, calibrate, and test sensors, communication modules, and control units
- Perform start-up testing, documentation, and troubleshooting in field environments
- Troubleshoot hardware, electrical wiring, and communication networks
- Maintain COMP-Score RT service vehicle
- Maintain tools and document all installation and service activities
- Assist with customer training and provide technical support as needed
- Ensure safety and quality standards are consistently met on-site
- Collaborate with engineering and software teams to validate system performance
- Travel up to 25–40% nationwide
Required:
- 2–4 years of related experience in electrical systems, field service, or instrumentation
- Strong working knowledge of wiring, field hardware, and diagnostics
- Ability to work independently and travel as needed
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Solid communication and organizational skills
- High comfort level with digital tools and data-based technologies
Preferred:
- Background in IT/networking or machine control systems
- Construction or heavy equipment experience
- Customer-facing service or field repair background
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, electronics, or a related field
Competitive Salary: $69,600 to $85,200 depending on experience and qualifications.
