A dependable and results-oriented Superintendent is needed to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for coordinating personnel, materials, and equipment to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
The ideal candidate brings hands‑on commercial construction experience and strong field leadership skills.
Primary responsibilities- Direct daily jobsite operations
- Lead subcontractors and field crews
- Maintain safety standards and quality control practices
- Develop and manage short-term construction schedules
- Coordinate multiple trades to maintain workflow
- Review work for compliance with plans, codes, and specifications
- Manage inspections and completion punch lists
- Address and resolve on-site challenges in real time
- Perform or assist with general construction tasks when needed, including demolition, site preparation, concrete work, framing, and installation activities
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction projects
- Background in:
- Concrete footings and foundations
- Slab-on-grade construction
- Steel or precast erection
- Proven track record of stable employment and long‑term career commitment in construction
- Residential‑only experience is not sufficient for this role
