The Specialist, Sales Operations serves as a vital liaison between the company and its diverse customer base. This role will help coordinate daily sales flow, handle customer requests, track inventory, and support the sales operations team to drive growth through multiple market channels.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Operate safely and appropriately in all AgCertain situations and environments
  • Demonstrate a proficient and continuously increasing understanding of product lines, including both retail and wholesale
  • Be proficient in using Business Central for inventory tracking and sales operations
  • Support a pipeline of sales to support growth plan
  • Work in Shopify e-commerce platform for direct-to-consumer orders
  • Serve as a main point-of-contact for customers and development accounts including procurement, sales, etc.
  • Support and assist with marketing efforts, both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business
  • Coordinate invoices with the sales team and enter properly into the system
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking and ordering of necessary raw materials and supplies
  • Manage customer list orders for corporate gifting purposes and maintain relationships with these customers
  • Display proficiency accessing documents via SharePoint and be able to complete data entry using Microsoft Excel
  • Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies
  • Handle customer service requests with positive and clear communication
  • Ensure that records are accurate and completed in a timely manner
  • Follow all written procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere, encouraging open communication and a commitment to quality
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Undergo Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training and be able to comply with Occupational Safety policies and GMPs in the production process; perform sanitation duties in accordance with SOPs, Food Safety and GMP compliance
  • Participate in all company trainings
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • An Associate’s Degree in Business or a related field;
    Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Physical abilities to include the ability to lift 75 lbs (34 Kg), ability to spend 8+ hours on feet and/or standing in place
  • Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and technical skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate internally and externally with customers and vendors
  • Act with humility, honesty, integrity, and a commitment to safety
  • Abide by Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of the facility
