Job DescriptionHAVING KNOWLEDGE OF INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND SHIPPING PROCESSES. RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING AND RECEIVING PARTS WITH UPS AND FREIGHT.
Job Requirements- Compare identifying information and count items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Determine whether inbound shipments are for stock or the Tank shop and distribute the parts to the correct location.
- Keep the parts room clean and organized.
- Cycle counting daily to maintain an accurate inventory and develop corrective actions for all inventory variances.
- Stock shelves accurately and neatly.
- Operate forklift to load and unload LTL carriers.
- Run order reports to determine stocking levels and maintain a sufficient supply of high moving parts.
- Ensure all parts that leave the parts room are committed to a Service or Work Order immediately.
