More about the roleJob Summary
Executes component ordering according to component demand plans and factory requirements. Optimizes on-hand component inventory to meet assigned inventory targets.
Key Areas of Responsibility- Monitors inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
- Coordinates with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and confirms forecast to reserve capacity.
- Drives root cause analysis and corrective actions on delivery reliability and component availability.
- Actively manages component inventory health by updating stocking strategies and maintaining SAP parameters.
- Issues and controls component orders, taking actions to ensure reliable confirmations and timely deliveries.
- Forecasts demand to suppliers and controls inventory within safety stock parameters to minimize slow-moving costs.
- Participates in component phase-in/phase-out processes and prepares reports on missing components.
- Issues orders for components and controls their execution. Responsible for all components belonging to the Purchasing Group & MRP Controller role.
- Evaluates suppliers in terms of timeliness and quantity of supplies in the GSRS.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience in supply chain planning or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
Salary: $56,000.00 - $82,000.00
Bonus: target bonus opportunity 5%
