Innovative Therapy Concepts is a Physical Therapist owned and operated Therapy Management Organization founded by Joe Sapp, PT in 2006. ITC is searching for a Physical Therapist to join a fun and energetic environment that strives to achieve great outcomes with every patient we encounter. Treating diagnoses include, but are not limited to orthopedic patients, post-surgical, neurological, balance disorders, and general deconditioning.

We Are Seeking

Responsibilities Include The Following. Other Duties May Be Assigned.
  • Review Physician's referral and patient condition and medical records to determine physical therapy treatment required
  • Test and measure patient's strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency; record findings to develop or revise treatment programs
  • Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on evaluation of patient data
  • Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function
  • Administer therapeutic exercises to improve strength, ROM, flexibility, and cardiovascular function
  • Instruct, motivate, and assist patient to perform various physical activities to achieve functional goals
  • Instruct, motivate, and assist patient in the use of assistant and supportive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, and prostheses
  • Administer treatments involving application of physical agents and modalities (hot/cold packs, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, iontophoresis, TNS, dry needling)
  • Evaluate treatment effects and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit
  • Administer massage and traction to relieve pain
  • Record treatment, response, and progress in patient charts or computer system
  • Instruct patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home
  • Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommend modifications
  • Consult with Physicians and other practitioners to obtain additional patient information; integrate PT treatment with other aspects of health care
  • Orient, instruct, and direct work activities of assistants, techs, and students
  • Plan and conduct lectures and training programs for medical staff, students, and community groups
  • Plan and develop physical therapy research programs and participate in conducting research
  • Consult and practice with a variety of professionals (physicians, dentists, nurses, educators, social workers, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, audiologists)
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position may include supervising Physical Therapy Assistants or Techs in certain situations.
