Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

Overview

Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician opportunity with Walmart. Join a dynamic team and contribute to maintaining facilities to high standards. This role supports stores and regional teams in a fast-paced environment and requires hands-on maintenance across multiple trades.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and related trades; use hand tools and power tools to complete jobs.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders, support stores and associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass an MVR
• Vocational or technical certification and 5 years of experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade; or 7 years of experience in one of these trades
• 1 year of experience using intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights frequently
