Department: Quality Care Rehab

Location: Monument Health American Fork

Compensation: $28.00 - $32.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of an occupational therapist, execute the therapeutic plans designed to help patients, including teaching use of adaptive equipment, guiding through exercises, and engaging in activities that support recovery.
  • Contribute to planning and selection of therapeutic activities tailored to the individual needs and interests of each patient, understanding therapeutic goals set by the occupational therapist and applying creative and practical approaches.
  • Regularly monitor and document the progress of patients, observe changes in performance and behavior, report observations to the occupational therapist, and adjust therapy interventions accordingly.
  • Educate patients and their families about the therapy process, adaptive equipment, and home modifications to ensure continued therapeutic practice at home, supporting long-term recovery and independence.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current license/certification in the state of practice.
