This is a great opportunity to work in a respected practice as a Medical Scribe. Successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. Must be able to multi‑task while maintaining good patient and staff relations.

• Accompanies physician into clinic visit and creates clinic note.
• Order labs and prescriptions as requested by physician.
• Maintains patient records and other information as requested by the physician.
• Records the office visits via electronic templates on behalf of physician.
• Provides courteous and friendly service to all patients and contributes to a positive work environment.
• Assist with ordering labs and medications.

• Must type at least 60 wpm with accuracy.
• Previous scribe or transcription experience preferred.
• Must be proficient with computers.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• A working knowledge of electronic medical records preferred.
• Reliable transportation is a MUST! Willing/able to travel to all GI locations (Provo, Spanish Fork, American Fork).

This will be a part-time position in our American Fork office, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
