Product Designer, UI/UX Design
This position will be remote in the United States or can be hybrid in our American Fork, UT office 2-3 days per week.
Job SummaryAs a Product Design Director, you will lead the UI/UX design vision for all client-server applications, web, and mobile experiences across Henry Schein One’s product portfolio. You will define and champion a unified UX strategy that delivers intuitive, consistent, and delightful end-to-end experiences for customers, while building and scaling a best-in-class design organization.
As a senior leader and player‑coach, you’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other stakeholders to embed user‑centered design into how we build products – further strengthening our customer‑focused culture and reinforcing HS1’s position as an industry leader.
What You Will Do- Set the UX vision and strategy across HS1’s global, multi-product ecosystem, ensuring experiences are cohesive, consistent, and best‑in‑class
- Partner with product and executive leaders to align UX strategy with business priorities and create easy‑to‑learn, easy‑to‑use solutions that delight customers
- Embed UX into the product development lifecycle
, establishing scalable processes that support discovery, design, delivery, and validation within Agile teams - Lead with insight
, using data, research, and direct customer engagement to guide design decisions and priorities - Own and evolve the UX roadmap
, balancing long‑term strategic initiatives with near‑term delivery needs - Act as a hands‑on leader and coach
, inspiring designers and researchers to deliver intuitive, high‑quality experiences - Champion user‑centered design
, partnering with Product Management on customer visits, interviews, and usability analysis - Drive design system excellence
, evolving global style guides, design libraries, tools, and methodologies to improve consistency and efficiency - Collaborate with Marketing Design leadership to ensure a seamless experience from awareness and purchase through onboarding and adoption
- Build and develop a high‑performing UX organization
, including recruiting, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and continuous professional development - Foster a culture of learning and collaboration

What You Will Have
- 8+ years of UX design experience, including 5+ years in UX leadership roles within cloud SaaS environments – both virtual and hybrid
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred but not required
- Proven success leading and scaling UX teams across complex, multi‑product B2B software portfolios
- Experience designing technically complex workflows and interfaces, ideally within healthcare, medical, or dental domains
- Demonstrated ability to define and execute UX strategy and partner effectively with Product, Engineering, and Marketing throughout the Agile lifecycle
- Experience creating and managing design roadmaps, while balancing strategic vision with tactical execution
- Expertise in UX/UI principles, usability research, and best practices, across web and mobile platforms
- Hands‑on experience with design systems, style guides, design libraries, and a wide range of design artifacts (journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, high‑fidelity concepts)
- A compelling portfolio that showcases data‑informed decision making and measurable impact
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and navigate organizational complexity
- Excellent business acumen, including strategic planning, financial awareness, and experience delivering results through complex initiatives
- A collaborative, growth‑oriented mindset with a passion for mentorship, coaching, and continuous learning
The posted range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000 which is the expected starting salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
