Football Frosh Head Coaching Positions are being offered at American Canyon High School. The head coach candidates should be experienced in the sport, have coaching experience, and a track record of working with student-athletes at the high school level. The season begins in June and runs through November; some off-season activities are expected. The head coaches may receive a district stipend at the end of the season.

Must be willing and able to work with ACHS staff, student athletes, parents, administration, and the ACHS Athletic Booster Club. Basic knowledge should include:
1) character-building aspects of sports and core values of sportsmanship and good character;
2) understanding physical capacities and limitations of the age group;
3) coaching principles related to educational philosophy, adolescent psychology, nutrition, risk management, and the rules and strategies of the sport.

• Experience in football; coaching experience and a resume of working with high school student-athletes.
• Applicants will be required to obtain First Aid/CPR, NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest, NFHS Concussion in Sports, NFHS Heat and Illness Prevention, and all Napa Valley Unified School District HR required documents.
