Mechanical Construction Manager / Site Manager Central London | £5m £20m Commercial & High-End Residential Projects Contract or Permanent (CIS / PAYE) Our client is a well-established, growing building services contractor delivering complex mechanical and electrical packages across London and the South East, with project values typically ranging from £5m to £20m . We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager / Site Manager to take ownership of mechanical delivery, testing, commissioning and coordination on a flagship Central London development comprising multiple blocks and floors.

This is a senior site-based role with real autonomy, working closely with Project, Commercial and Client teams to drive quality, programme and handover.

Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for mechanical construction delivery from installation through to testing, commissioning and handover Coordinate commissioning activities across mechanical services Manage interfaces between trades to ensure programme certainty and defect-free delivery Ensure installations are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and design intent Lead day-to-day site operations including direct labour and subcontractors Drive health & safety, quality and environmental standards across the project Monitor progress against programme and proactively resolve risks to delivery Work closely with the commercial team on variations, change control and progress reporting Oversee commissioning documentation, O&M manuals and certification portals Maintain accurate site records including materials, deliveries and inspections Requirements Strong mechanical background within building services Proven experience managing large-scale M&E packages (£5m) Previous experience on commercial or high-end residential projects is beneficial CSCS and SMSTS (essential) Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders on site Whats on Offer Long-term contract or permanent opportunity with a growing contractor Central London projects with strong pipeline CIS or competitive PAYE salary depending on preference If youre a delivery-focused Mechanical Construction Manager looking to work on properly resourced, high-value London projects , apply now.
