The purpose of the Guardhouse Attendant is to monitor shipping/receiving access control and ensure the safety of all Ben

E. Keith personnel to maintain a secure work environment.

• Review all relevant logs and documentation to ensure daily activities are completed in a timely manner.
• Communicate with all relevant personnel to fulfill duties accurately and efficiently.
• Support appropriate security procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all BEK personnel.
• Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as needed.

• At least 1 year of related experience required.
• Knowledge of safety rules required.
• Ability to use and follow safety rules and guidelines.
• Proficient use of PC and knowledge of Microsoft applications required.
• Ability to learn and use internal software applications as needed.
• Solid interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent work ethic.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
