Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician - RW (NE)

Med-Trans Corporation is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to support our EC135 and Bell 407 airframes. This is a full-time role focused on maintenance, safety, and timely transportation services to patients.

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, and repairs; provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment; regularly update the equipment tracking log; place replacement requests when necessary; document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information as required; adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Communicate effectively to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs and the operations team.

• EC135 and Bell 407 maintenance experience
• Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with at least six months of helicopter maintenance in the last 24 months
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
• Valid State driver’s license
• High School diploma or GED
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance planning
• Willingness to travel between bases to support maintenance needs
• Must be acceptable under the FAA drug and alcohol testing program
• Physical ability to push/pull 100+ lbs and lift/carry up to 50 lbs

• FAA Inspection Authorization Certification
• Related experience under CFR Part 135
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
• Airbus maintenance experience
