Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician - RW (NE)
Med-Trans Corporation is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to support our EC135 and Bell 407 airframes. This is a full-time role focused on maintenance, safety, and timely transportation services to patients.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, and repairs; provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
- Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment; regularly update the equipment tracking log; place replacement requests when necessary; document part expenditures.
- Document service paperwork and FAA information as required; adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
- Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
- Communicate effectively to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors and team members.
- Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs and the operations team.
Required Qualifications
- EC135 and Bell 407 maintenance experience
- Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with at least six months of helicopter maintenance in the last 24 months
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
- Valid State driver’s license
- High School diploma or GED
- Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
- EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance planning
- Willingness to travel between bases to support maintenance needs
- Must be acceptable under the FAA drug and alcohol testing program
- Physical ability to push/pull 100+ lbs and lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- FAA Inspection Authorization Certification
- Related experience under CFR Part 135
- Autopilot maintenance experience
- Avionics and electrical repair experience
- Airbus maintenance experience
