This role is full-time and hourly, with steady overtime opportunities. Thanks to the Big Beautiful Bill, overtime pay is now tax-free...more of what you earn stays in your pocket.

This is hands-on, physical work. You'll be outdoors on lifts, rooftops, and ladders. You'll wire up illuminated signs, troubleshoot outages, bring failing systems back to life, and make sure every project meets code. Every day is different. Every job matters. And your work literally shapes the skyline.

Sky Rite currently has positions available for Journeyman or Master Sign Electrician in the following areas:

* Amarillo, TX

* Lubbock, TX

What You'll Actually Do

* Install and service illuminated and non-illuminated signs and lighting systems

* Read and interpret drawings, specs, and NEC codes to get it right the first time

* Wire, connect, and troubleshoot electrical systems safely and efficiently

* Operate sign trucks, cranes, and lifts to get the job done

* Load your truck with tools, materials, and equipment to minimize return trips

* Document your work, take photos, and complete checklists for quality control

* Communicate clearly with your crew, the office, and the customer

Minimum Requirements

* Active Journeyman or Master Sign Electrician license in Texas

* OR 8,000+ hours of verifiable sign installation/service work in another state (eligible to test in Texas immediately)

* Reliable work ethic and safety-first mindset

* Comfortable with heights, ladders, and physical labor

* Ability to read and follow plans, specs, and codes

* Some MIG welding and crane/lift experience preferred
