Pro Shop Attendant

Position: PRO SHOP ATTENDANT
STARTING PAY

$13.00 Per Hour

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Golf Operations Superintendent and Assistant Golf Professionals with managing all aspects of the golf operation
• Assist in the coordination and implementation of tournaments and outings
• Collect all money for green fee, cart fee, pass fees, range, and merchandise, issuing receipts for all transactions
• Ensures proper registration of golfers, correct
• Provides and interprets golf policies, rules and regulations
• Maintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop and clubhouse areas
• Remain courteous with all customers at all times
• Work as a team player with co-workers in conjunction with the deli and cart staff as needed
• Follows directives and completes assignments with a minimum of supervision
• Answer telephone in a professional and courteous manner

• Performs all work according to established procedures

MI
NIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Texas Drivers License is required.
• A minimum of six months experience as a cashier or sales clerk
• General knowledge of the game of golf
• Present a positive, professional image
• Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented
• Strong interpersonal as well as written and oral communication skills
• Reliable attendance

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Position is in a non-smoking golf shop area of the clubhouse
• Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions that may be wet, extreme cold or extreme heat
• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling
• Frequent repetitive motions
• Continuous standing and walking
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and a variety of shifts.
• Reliable attendance and proven dependability.
