Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (OASM‑IT) will gain hands‑on experience in the key responsibilities and functions of an Operations Assistant Store Manager at The Home Depot. During the up to 6‑week training period, the candidate will learn to manage various aspects of the store, uphold company policies, and develop strategies that boost sales and profitability.

• 50% Training and preparing for Assistant Manager position – Participate in structured training covering retail store management, operations, customer service, sales, profitability, and company policies and procedures.
• 15% Customer Experience – Supervise associates, lead customer service culture, resolve customer concerns promptly.
• 15% Sales and Productivity – Collaborate on merchandise placement, stock integrity, inventory management, store equipment and financial operations.
• 10% Operations Management – Perform opening/closing activities, MOD responsibilities, adhere to SOPs, safety compliance, and mitigate shrink.
• 10% Safety – Ensure all safety and hazmat procedures are followed.

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience.

• Prior leadership experience 3+ years.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Background in retail or related field.
