Job Summary
As a Truck Service Advisor I at Travel Centers of America, you will provide first‑rate service to customers by leveraging your extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide. The role focuses on writing work orders, suggestive selling, and handling over‑the‑counter (OTC) transactions while ensuring every traveler returns to the road better than they came.
Responsibilities- Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service and exceeding customer expectations.
- Write, detail, and process work orders and OTC transactions; properly write up an ETA work order and secure purchase orders.
- Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
- Prepare end‑of‑shift drop and shift report; understand various payment types.
- Ensure the cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and customer restrooms.
- Maintain the safety of both customers and team members.
- Dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of our team.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous cashier and customer service experience; experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
- Strong suggestive selling skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays in interior and exterior conditions.
- A valid driver’s license.

The role requires standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending over, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs.
