Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team. Foster a positive work environment, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure top performance.
  • Customer

    Experience:

    Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and upholding high standards of service.
  • Sales & Performance:
    Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Financial Management:
    Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance.
  • Marketing & Community Engagement:
    Implement local marketing initiatives and build relationships with the community to enhance brand presence.
  • Innovation & Problem-Solving:
    Stay current with industry trends and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in store operations.
  • Additional duties and projects as required.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

    Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
  • Leadership

    Skills:

    Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Customer-Centric:
    Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Flexibility:
    Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Tech-Savvy:
    Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Minimum Requirements
  • Assistant Store Manager:
    Open availability (including mornings, days, and nights), minimum 5-day work week, and peak-season hours may exceed 44 hours.
  • Supervisor:
    Availability to open/close, minimum 5 days per week, and a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • All Management:
    Availability on weekends and holidays; punctuality and regular attendance; reliable transportation; clear English communication; ability to read/write English and perform basic business math; willingness to relocate within the company network if needed.
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged standing for 5 to 14 hours daily; longer hours during peak periods.
  • Stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling to stock merchandise; may climb ladders or stairs.
  • Lift 5–25 lbs regularly (may be higher in some cases).
  • Good vision with color differentiation; moderately noisy retail environment.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years in retail leadership preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
