Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position working night shifts with Epic experience preferred and a minimum of 1 year of RN experience required.

Job Details

• Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting,

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6,

• Unit consists of 10 beds,

• Night shift schedule (7p-7:30a), with a choice of 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts,

• Epic EMR experience within the last 6 months is preferred,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required,

• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position,

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler,

• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted,

• First-time travelers may be considered - check position details for eligibility,

• No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
