Your Responsibilities
  • Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic diseases either in conjunction with physicians or independently (based on your qualifications)
  • Imparting knowledge to patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and managing diseases
  • Prescribing medications and treatments in accordance with your practice privileges
  • Engaging in patient follow‑up and overseeing chronic care management
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless, comprehensive care
  • Maintaining meticulous and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Background
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
Mandatory Credentials
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP‑C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to achieve within 90 days)
