• Performing holistic patient assessments, recommending diagnostic procedures, and creating personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or collaboratively with physicians, depending on your credentialing
• Providing education to patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and health management
• Prescribing medications and treatments in accordance with your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic health conditions
• Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams for smooth, integrated patient care
• Accurately documenting detailed patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner educational program

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
