Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! The position supports the Infusion Department at our Amarillo, TX location and is a full‑time Monday‑Friday role (8:00 am–5:00 pm) with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards.
• Assess patient and family needs and provide teaching and instructional material.
• Prepare and administer therapies under physician direction.
• Administer all medications and blood products using correct dosage, route, time, and technique.
• Ensure pre‑authorization and consent forms are completed prior to therapy administration.
• Facilitate dose modifications by assessing labs, consulting protocols or treatment plans, calculating dose, and consulting physicians for dosage changes and symptom management.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.
• Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Minimum 0‑3 years of RN experience.
• Willingness to consider entry, mid, or senior level candidates.
• Current RN license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

The work environment is typical of an oncology/hematology clinic, with possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and medical preparations.

Full range of motion, including handling and lifting patients and items up to 40 lbs; manual and finger dexterity; eye‑hand coordination; standing and walking for extensive periods; corrected vision and hearing at normal range.
