The LVN functions under the supervision of the charge nurse or registered nurse delegating any tasks within the scope of practice for an LVN. The LVN is responsible for providing safe, compassionate and focused nursing care to assigned patients with predictable health care needs, utilizing the principles of continuous quality improvement in collaboration with other health team members. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards for all customer groups.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Assures provision of care to an assigned patient population, utilizing the principles of Performance Improvement in collaboration with other health team members
- Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards for all customer groups
- Implements and notes response to an age-appropriate plan of care utilizing assigned components of the Nursing process, Clinical Skills, and Patient Education

- An LVN currently licensed by the State of Texas
- Completion of an IV Therapy Course
- Possess current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire and maintain certification throughout employment
