The General Shop Laborer supports daily production activities by safely performing hands-on manufacturing tasks, equipment setup, and general labor duties. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions- Operate hand tools and power equipment to remove excess metal and burs from work pieces.
- Clean, inspect, and maintain tools, machinery, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist with basic machine setup, attachment installation, and production support.
- Examine finished work to verify conformance to specifications.
- Follow standard operating procedures and all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Communicate any injuries, unsafe acts, or equipment failures to the team lead immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and material usage as required.
- Support other production areas as needed.
- Assist in general shop housekeeping and material handling.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
The standard schedule for this position is:
- Day Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Night Shift: Monday–Wednesday, 4:30 PM to 5:00 AM, and Thursday, 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Flexibility may be required to work additional hours, evenings, or weekends based on production needs.

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to quality.
- Must be safety-focused and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be a U.S citizen
