YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Project Manager II is a senior project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering excellent service. Provides overall project management support to two to four concurrent projects of small to medium crew size or one to two projects of large crew size. This is a senior role with developed expertise and the capability to mentor and train staff.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Train and provide guidance to Project Assistants and/or Project Manager I in maintaining project tracking devices.
  • Plan and organize projects under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
  • Participate in supervising and training Project Assistants and/or Project Manager I.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within company guidelines.
  • Negotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders.
  • Liaise with clients and A/E teams to facilitate construction activities.
  • Support construction activities on-site with Foremen and Superintendents to ensure schedule and budget adherence.
  • Anticipate, prevent, and resolve serious issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Represent the company in project meetings.
  • Prepare and negotiate change quotations with clients.
  • Manage project financials, including billing, expenses, and profitability.
  • Assist in developing new business opportunities.
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Effective performance management skills.
  • Extensive safety knowledge and protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Work well under pressure and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to interact professionally at all levels.

TRAVEL: Up to 25%

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work may be performed at construction sites or in the office, with varying environmental conditions and noise levels. The role involves sitting, standing, walking, typing, and lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally. We comply with ADA and applicable laws to accommodate qualified individuals.
