We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR/Medical Records Clerk to join our growing team! Your Impact as an HR/Medical Records ClerkIn this role, you will:
Manage Employee Data
:
Process new hires, pay rate changes, and terminations in HR systemsAssist with Recruitment
:
Screen applications and resumes, assess qualifications, and offer hiring recommendationsAdvise on Policies
:
Support managers and employees with questions related to HR policies and proceduresHandle Payroll & Records
:
Respond to payroll inquiries and maintain accurate personnel recordsSupport Employment Transactions
:
Guide decisions on promotions, transfers, reductions-in-force, and classification reviewsCoordinate Recognition Programs
:
Oversee employee events and ensure alignment with recognition guidelinesMaintain Compliance
:
Monitor personnel files and risk documentation in accordance with federal and state lawsPerform Administrative Functions
:
Prepare correspondence, manage data entry, and create HR reports as neededInterpret and Enforce Policies
:
Educate staff on policies, employment law, and workplace procedures
In this role, you will:
- Organize and maintain the facility’s medical records system in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
- Code and quantify records for residents from admission through discharge.
- Assist with the development and implementation of medical record policies and procedures.
- Maintain an organized and accessible filing system for staff use.
- Prepare reports and documentation as requested by leadership.
- Act as secretary for designated meetings, taking and distributing minutes as needed.
- Conduct quarterly resident chart audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has at least 2 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll
- Holds a Medical Records certification (preferred).
Demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking skills
Communicates professionally and effectively with all levels of staff
Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive matters
Is proficient in HR software, data entry, and reporting systems
- Understands labor law and HR compliance requirements
- Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team
