• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Monitor patients in a telemetry environment through a centralized unit
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary support team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more
• Float to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends

• BLS certification (preferred)
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Knowledge of isolation precautions
• IV therapy/phlebotomy and peripheral line care/management

• Daily census: 37 patients
• Total number of rooms: 45
• Total number of beds: 45
• Free floating charge nurse on duty
• House discharge nurse available to assist across all departments
• Engage in a patient-focused environment with support from rapid response teams and pharmacy services

20 hours of orientation to integrate into our team effectively
