ResponsibilitiesFunctions under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Physical Medicine. Assumes the responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provideshugings or along with maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care. The speech pathologist/therapist may also be assigned to orient staff and students and may assume the duties and responsibility of the supervisor in the absence of that individual.

Qualifications- Minimum of Master’s level SLP/CF and current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to communicate with patients, families, staff, physicians, support agencies, vendors, and others
- Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions
- Ability to respond to pages
- Ability to lift and transfer patients exerting 50–100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25–50 pounds frequently
- Ability to tolerate prolonged walking and standing
- Ability to have sensory skills to differentiate clinical signs and symptoms
- Ability to deal with a variety of stressful situations including emergency response to patient incidents
