Radiologic Technologist - $10k sign on bonus!!

Apply for the Radiologic Technologist role at Trident Care.

Shifts:

Monday‑Friday, 4:30 pm – 1:00 am. Pay $24–$26 per hour based on experience. On‑call every other weekend.
Sign‑on bonus: $10,000.

Responsibilities
  • Provide mobile X‑Ray and EKG (if applicable) service to nursing homes, health‑care facilities, and other facilities.
  • Perform and process X‑Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a radiologist for interpretation.
  • Unload portable X‑Ray equipment and transport it to facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians. Must obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent images.
  • Perform EKGs (as required) and transmit them to a cardiologist for interpretation (if required).
  • Scan exam‑related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
  • Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
  • Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
  • Maintain vehicle and X‑ray equipment.
Required Skills
  • Maintain required state licenses and/or ARRT certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license in the applicable state and in good current standing at all times.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Connect and disconnect Holter monitors (if required).
  • Care for equipment in a professional manner; notify supervisor immediately if equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform special projects or other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Train other technologists as required.
  • Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with little to no direct supervision.
Duty and Responsibility Statements
  • Login for self‑dispatching or call dispatch to obtain information regarding beginning caseload.
  • Arrive at first case or location with company vehicle; leave home at least 30 minutes prior.
  • Wear company uniform, name tag, and radiation badge; follow dress code.
  • Carry company‑provided phone at all times.
  • Respond to urgent communication within 15 minutes.
  • Check voicemail/text from each facility after completing each case; or at least every 30 minutes as needed.
  • Check for new cases via self‑dispatching system or dispatcher every 30 minutes.
  • Upon arrival, verify all orders against the patient’s chart; correct any discrepancies before proceeding.
  • Confirm patient identity with at least two identifiers; document nurse’s name if patient cannot identify themselves.
  • Ensure correct patient information on images before sending to teleradiology.
  • Practice proper radiation protection at all times; use issued equipment to meet standards.
  • Prohibit consumption of alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, or possession of weapons as stated in the Associate Handbook.
  • Maintain drug‑free workplace policy; update criminal background changes as required.
  • Behave professionally and ethically according to the Code of Conduct.
  • Do not refuse to perform an assigned case regardless of location.
  • Do not call referral sites for purposes other than providing an ETA.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in timesheets per protocol.
  • Care for company vehicles in accordance with maintenance policy; maintain speed limits and traffic rules.
  • Pay all vehicle tickets, including parking and speeding, when using company vehicles.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license at all times; provide copy to Trident Care personnel as required.
  • Undergo medical physical examinations and TB screening at hire and annually; provide documentation within two weeks of last exam.
  • Facility staff handles patient transfers; technologists do not engage in these activities.
