About Northwest Physicians GroupNorthwest Physicians Group founded in 2013 focusing on population health management. The group has grown to a network of over 40 providers serving patients at numerous primary, specialty, and urgent care locations in and around Amarillo, Texas. Northwest Physicians Group is affiliated with Northwest Texas Healthcare, a 495-bed system acute care hospital that serves approximately 650,000 residents of the Texas Panhandle and surrounding region.
The system provides acute care services including cardiac, pediatric, women’s, emergency, surgical and behavioral healthcare.
The Operations Administrator assists the Market Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing day-to-day functions of programs and activities. The Operations Administrator develops and implements policies and procedures in coordination with Corporate direction. The Operations Administrator works closely with Practice Administrators/Managers on issues related to financial and operational performance. The Operations Administrator communicates and implements corporate strategic initiatives within the Market.
The Operations Administrator demonstrates Service Excellence and conveys professionalism at all times with a strong motivation to achieve optimum results. This position is directly responsible for daily operations, inventory, overseeing IT and managed care initiatives. This position has direct reports and reports to the Market Director.
Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 11 markets across six states and the District of Columbia.

- Bachelor's Degree in Health or Business Administration.
- Five to eight years' experience in progressively responsible practice operations may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
- Three to five years of physician practice business leadership experience or healthcare management experience is required.
