Contributes to the university’s mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit. Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Major/Essential Functions- Inpatient pediatric endocrinology consult service
- Inpatient pediatric endocrinology service
- Outpatient pediatric endocrinology clinic 4 days per week
- Supervision of mid‑level providers
- Supervising residents and medical students in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Provide lectures and conferences for residents and medical students
- Conducts and publishes peer reviewed clinical research
- Completion of pediatric endocrinology fellowship or in the process of completing.
- Board certification in pediatric endocrinology or passing of board certification within one year of employment.
- Texas medical license.
