Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Level 1 Field Service Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for early‑career professionals who have a strong technical foundation and are looking to grow in the medical imaging field. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience servicing general X‑ray equipment
.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform installations, calibrations, inspections, and basic repairs on general X‑ray and ultrasound equipment
- Assist with preventive maintenance and documentation in line with OEM specifications
- Work with laptop‑based diagnostic tools and hand tools to assess equipment performance
- Collaborate with senior technicians and customers to ensure proper operation
- Learn and adhere to safety, performance, and industry standards
- Travel to client sites within the assigned territory
What You’ll Need (Requirements):
- Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years of hands‑on experience as a biomedical or X‑ray technician
- Willingness to learn mammography and other advanced imaging modalities
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to travel regionally on occasion
