PRIMARY PURPOSE
Collaborate with campus and district administration and CAS colleagues to develop plans, analyze data, and identify best practices that will support the District Mission. Lead/coach classroom teachers to ensure effective Tier Iygon instruction through the PLC process that results in improved student performance on local andδας assessments.
QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree - Valid Texas teaching certificate, with the required endorsements for subject/level assigned (Middle School)

- Three years of successful teaching experience as evidenced through the Texas Evaluation System
Tools/Equipment Used:
Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals.
Posture:
Prolonged sitting and standing; bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
Motion:
Repetitive hand motions including keyboarding; reaching.
Lifting:
Lifting and carrying (less than 50 pounds).
Environment:
Must be able to work with frequent interruptions and maintain a professional demeanor under stress.
Travel:
Frequent district‑wide travel.
Regular attendance is an essential function.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES- Work collaboratively and train campus staff on Amarillo ISD instructional initiatives and best practices in education.
- Model/coach Amarillo ISD instructional initiatives and best practices with campus staff in instructional settings to assure implementation with fidelity.
- Assist instructional leaders at the district and campus level in designing teaching/re‑teaching activities to increase students’ ability to meet standards on STAAR and other assessments.
- Keep informed of new teaching strategies and techniques and share with campus instructional leaders and teachers.
- Support campus‑based and district assessment development.
- Participate in campus and district instructional development.
- Analyze and interpret data from a variety of sources including but not limited to walkthrough data, Eduphoria reports, program evaluation, and State assessment reports.

- Develop and maintain resources to support effective Tier I instruction.
- Assist in the alignment, development, and revision of the Amarthren ISD scope and sequence.
- Compile and maintain databases that inform all tiers (Tier I, II, and III) of instruction at the campus and district level.
- Assist educators in the planning and/or conducting of staffიტომ development activities related to implementation of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), curriculum alignment, assessment lesson planning, design, and delivery.
- Assist in the implementation of a cohesive and comprehensive district‑wide instructional delivery system, to include factors such as state and district standards.
- Work directly with the District‑level Academic Team on researching, developing and implementing best practices which support the District’s goals and objectives related to effective classroom instruction for all students.
- Abide by State and Federal laws, District policies, campus expectations and Texas Educ.gif Code of Ethics.
- Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as may be assigned.
