About Northwest Physicians GroupNorthwest Physicians Group was formed in 2013 with a focus toward population health management. The group has grown to a network of over 40 providers serving patients atierd primary, specialty, Ay urgent care locations in and around Amarillo, Texas. Northwest Physicians Group is affiliated with the Northwest Texas Healthcare System, a 495‑bed acute‑ severe hospital that serves approximately 650,000 residents of the Texas Panhandle and surrounding region.
The system provides acute‑care services including cardiac, pediatric, women’s, emergency, surgical, and behavioral health care.
The Operations Administrator assists the Market Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing day‑to‑day functions of programs and activities. The Operations Administrator develops and implements policies and procedures in coordination with corporate direction, works closely with Practice Administrators/Managers on financial and operational performance, and communicates corporate strategic initiatives within the market. The role involves daily operations, inventory management, IT oversight, managed care initiatives, with direct reports and reporting to the Market Director.

IPM, a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS, developing and managing multi‑specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics aligned with UHS acute‑care facilities and also providing services for the Behavioral Health division Administrative. IPM operates in 11 markets across six states and the District of Columbia.

- Five to eight years of progressively responsible practice operations experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
- Three to five years of physician practice business leadership experience or healthcare management experience is required
