Customer Risk Representative Job Amarillo area,Texas USA,Business

Coach and develop the origination team within the assigned territory, leveraging knowledge of cash markets, futures markets, farmer risk management tools, and interpreting industry reports. Act as the primary contact for customers and develop long-standing business relationships with key accounts in the territory. Serve as a liaison between The Structured Products Group and facility merchandisers.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop customer relationships and increase grain volume, with yearly volume goals established collaboratively.

Become an expert and trainer in risk management tools, including:

Cash, Options, HTA, Basis
Crop Insurance Fundamentals
OTC products/internal SPG risk management contracts

Create and implement marketing plans with key producers, and engage in cross-country trading and FOB originations.

Build strong relationships with area facilities staff to understand and discover market values Viterra can trade, either through cross-country trading or with Viterra facilities. Provide training on SPG products to regional personnel and assist locations with processes for SPG grouped programs.

Provide procurement leadership to maximize value throughout the process.

Establish and maintain relationships with End Users such as Dairies and Feed Lots.

Implement best practices in procurement processes and techniques, ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Lead and develop the purchasing/supply team to high performance levels.

Negotiate with suppliers when appropriate.

Ensure compliance with the organization’s EHS policies and participate in related activities, including incident reporting and safety meetings.

Utilize CRM capabilities to increase business and ensure proper tracking.
