AboutThe Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Project Coordinator (Bus Prof I) to support strategic energy infrastructure projects within the organization’s Energy Supply group. This role plays a critical part in coordinating documentation and approvals for large-scale capital projects including new wind farms, solar installations, repower initiatives, substations, and transmission projects — most exceeding $15M in value.

Key Responsibilities- Manage shared project inbox and high-volume email correspondence
- Track submittals and due dates using One Note and internal systems
- Route drawings and documents to engineers and project stakeholders for review/approval
- Follow up to ensure approvals are completed before supplier deadlines
- Modify and manage PDF files (Bluebeam, Adobe Pro, Project Wise)
- Perform quality checks on documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and print large-format drawing sets
- Assemble and ship 11x17 bound drawing books and project packages to construction sites
- Support both internal teams and occasional external supplier communications
This role includes both desk-based coordination work and hands-on tasks such as printing, packaging, and preparing documentation sets.
You’ll support a collaborative project team of approximately 10 members including:
- Project Managers
- Lead Engineers
- Construction team members
This is a highly team-oriented environment, but the role also requires independent ownership and accountability. Strong performers are highly valued and recognized as essential contributors to project success.
The workload is steady and growing, with significant infrastructure work underway across regions.
QualificationsRequired:
- 2–4 years of experience in a professional or administrative environment
- Experience managing document libraries (physical and digital)
- Strong experience with scanning and PDF modification
- Proficiency with:
- MS Office Suite
- Outlook
- Teams
- Share Point
- One Note
- Bluebeam, Adobe Pro, or Project Wise
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Experience supporting construction or large capital projects
- Background with companies such as Mortenson or other major construction firms (administrative capacity)
