Distribution Driver Specialist at Alvin ISD
Primary PurposeThe primary purpose of this role is to facilitate the timely delivery of freight to campuses and departments, including urgent hot shot deliveries as needed.
Responsibilities- Load and offload trucks at multiple locations throughout the day.
- Deliver and handle various supplies such as custodial items, mail, freight, and copy center productions.
- Assemble and install furniture, repair and repurpose furniture as needed.
- Relocate instructional units between campuses.
- Operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience: One‑year experience in a warehouse or receiving location preferred.
- Skills: Valid Class C driver’s license; basic knowledge of operating smartphone and iPad; OSHA 10 Certified preferred.
- Basic maintenance skills for material management.
Salary: Aux. PG4/260 days;
Starting: $32,364
