Job Overview

The Technical Bolting Technician is responsible for executing technical bolting and joint integrity services in accordance with approved site and company procedures.

Essential Job Functions

Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and practices, and alerting others to potential hazards.

Perform all duties as assigned and adhere to TEAM’s Core Values and critical choices.

Conduct planning, break-out, assembly, inspection, and fault and leak diagnosis.

Maintain documentation of activities related to technical bolting services.

Perform technical bolting services, including P&w, torque application, stud tensioning, ultrasonic bolt measurement, hydraulic nut splitting, bolt preload calculations, and joint integrity reporting.

Identify circumstances requiring proper safety procedures and equipment.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical training is a plus.
Two years of industry-related experience preferred.
Recent military service with mechanical, instrument, or electrical training is advantageous.
Travel requirements: 0% - 25%.

Work Conditions

Based at a branch or site location.
Work involves indoor and outdoor activities in a plant environment.
Interaction with crew members, supervisors, and clients.
Work around machinery with high noise levels; safety equipment required.
Potential travel to multiple sites and exposure to climate changes.

Physical and Mental Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
Ability to walk, climb, and communicate effectively.
Sufficient vision, manual dexterity, and mobility to perform duties, including working at heights.
Ability to focus, multitask, and communicate clearly.
