Overview
We are pleased to be working with an excellent client based in Altrincham who are looking for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join a small finance team on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone who is actively studying AAT (already level 2 as a minimum) and that is looking for an all rounded, varied role - reporting into the financial controller within the company.
Responsibilities- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Weekly payment runs
- Matching and coding purchase invoices
- Full end to end payroll; monthly and weekly staff, including processing all expenses and bonuses
- Support HR with holidays/sickness etc
- Assist with month end duties such as accruals, prepayments and journals
- Assist the FC with the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT and CIS returns
- Assist with ad hoc duties within accounts.
- 37.5 hours per week
- Flexible start and finish times
