NC Associates are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on behalf of our client based in Altrincham. As the Assistant Accountant you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and smooth day-to-day financial operations. You will maintain accurate financial records, supporting with management accounts, and ensure the finance function runs efficiently in a regulated environment.

• Processing of purchase invoices and sales invoices
• Preparing supplier payment runs to the bank
• Bank reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of management accounts
• Accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting credit control and monitoring debtor balances

• Experience using Xero accounting system
• AAT qualification (or working towards)
• Experience supporting management accounts preparation
• Ability to manage relationships
• Ambition and drive to grow with the business throws?
• Exceptional communication skills
