- Prepare resident nourishments

- Assist Chef
- Read and arrange diet card tray identification labels in proper order
- Stock shelves
- Use, clean, and sanitize assigned areas
- Maintain confidentiality
- Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, coworkers, and the public
- Additional duties as assigned
- Clean resident’s rooms, common areas, bathrooms, furniture/furnishings according to job policies and procedures
- Follow manufacturing procedural guidelines when using tools
- Operate equipment and handle chemicals
- Read and understand labeling along with the Safety Data Sheet
- Remove debris and soiled linen
- Follow proper infection control policies and procedures
- Handle confidential information/records and maintain confidentiality
- Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co‑workers, and the public
- Communicate orally and/or in writing with residents, co‑workers, families, and the public
- Additional duties as assigned
- Lifts and carries food supplies weighing 50 pounds occasionally; lifts and carries dishes, food trays weighing up to 25 pounds frequently
- Occasionally pushes/pulls dish lowraters/dish carts weight 250–400 pounds a distance of 70 feet
- Constantly grasps, frequently twists, stoops, bends
- Frequently works on slippery, wet floors
- Frequently reaches at or below shoulder height, occasionally reaches above shoulder height
- Occasionally climbs step stool, stairs, and kneels
- Frequently exposed to hot, humid conditions and temperature changes
- 100% of the work day is spent indoors; 50% of the work day is spent standing, 50% of the work day is spent walking
- Communicates orally and/or in writing with residents, coworkers, families, and the public
