We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can find their favorite merchandise. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to train new staff and support daily operations and sales goals.

• Provide an engaging shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty, showcasing product knowledge and customer service skills
• Assist in store operations, stepping in to lead when needed
• Open and close the store as scheduled
• Operate the register, process transactions, and promote sales using store benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Understand sales targets and key performance indicators such as UPT and ADT
• Assist with store layout changes and merchandising
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ
• Ensure store security and prevent theft in collaboration with management
• Maintain organized stock rooms and store cleanliness
• Support team development to foster a collaborative environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by store leadership

• At least 1 year of retail experience, ideally with a passion for music and pop culture
• Strong communication, time management, and operational skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds
