Flynn Group entered the Panera system in 2015 with the acquisition of 47 cafes and has since more than tripled in size to become the world’s second‑largest Panera franchisee. Flynn Panera operates under a decentralized business model, with each geographic area led by a Market Leader. Flynn Panera’s management structure includes Area Directors—multi‑unit operators responsible for overall cafe operations—and General Managers, the chief cafe managers.
Assistant Managers help with day‑to‑day management of departments, while Team Managers support the overall leadership of the cafe.
We are seeking a dedicated Manager to oversee up to 75 staff members in a fast‑moving, grease‑free, all‑day environment. The ideal candidate will be a morning person who can maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and customer service while driving profitability. Additionally, we are hiring a Catering Lead to develop and manage large catering accounts, provide excellent post‑order service, and collaborate closely with cafe teams and regional catering sales staff.
TeamManager Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding leadership to the cafe team.
- Inspire and coach staff, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
- Maintain rigorous standards for cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and safety.
- Ensure excellent customer experience and operational profitability.
- Process, prepare, and deliver catering orders to clients.
- Organize a team of employees to execute large catering orders.
- Provide excellent customer service, follow‑up with customers, and respond promptly to all requests.
- Manage existing accounts to secure repeat sales.
- Collaborate with cafe teams and the Regional Catering Sales Manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute targeted strategies for increasing catering sales, including cold‑calling, presentations, and closing techniques.
- Use Outlook Calendar and other tools for organization and follow‑up.
- Communicate effectively via email.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent organization, customer service, and time‑management skills.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work well under pressure with a diverse group of people.
- Proven track record of success in a fast‑moving environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
