About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. The assignment begins on 11/03/2025 and involves working 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, typically from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The CRNA will be responsible for providing anesthesia care for a variety of cases including General Surgery, Basic Pediatrics, Neurology, Thoracic, Obstetrics, and Trauma.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with general cases, endoscopy, cystoscopy, OBGYN, and orthopedic procedures. This position offers the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide anesthesia care for a range of surgical procedures

• Manage patients in the main OR, handling 3-7 cases in succession

• Administer and monitor anesthesia during general surgery, basic pediatrics, neurology, thoracic, obstetrics, and trauma cases

• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia care plans

• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures

• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate medical records using Cerner EMR system

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania

• Experience with general cases, endoscopy, cystoscopy, OBGYN, and orthopedic procedures required

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-specialty clinic environment

• Ability to adapt to varying case loads and surgical schedules

• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential
