SummaryThis position is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating engaging organizational training programs using diverse teaching methods and collaborating with stakeholders to meet organizational needs. The role also monitors training outcomes, leads awareness campaigns, and ensures ongoing improvement and alignment with best practices in abuse prevention.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Design and deliver targeted, engaging and interactive training on abuse indicators, boundaries, and ethics that is tailored to staff at all levels.
- Employ diverse teaching methods aimed at enhanced learning across functions and levels.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure content meets business needs and objectives.
- Facilitate live virtual new hire orientation and annual re‑training sessions.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report training participation, outcomes, and effectiveness to steering, safety, or compliance committees; develop assessment tools and recommend continuous improvements.
- Create and maintain resources and training materials to align with best practice standards.
- Remain updated on current trends and best practices in patient safety and abuse prevention.
- Lead awareness campaigns and contribute to internal communications by participating in and/or leading cross‑functional work groups.
- Provide guidance to staff and leadership on reporting procedures and response protocols for suspected abuse.
- Consult on appropriate training for HR cases, without direct involvement in investigations.
- Travel as needed for conferences and site presentations.
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information.
- Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resources, organizational development, social work, psychology or a related field required; master’s preferred.
- Clinical license (e.g., LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, LPC) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in HR, training, quality, compliance, and/or clinical oversight within a behavioral healthcare setting.
- Prior experience developing and delivering training content.
- Certifications such as Certified Professional Patient Experience (CPPX), Certified Professional Patient Safety (CPPS), Violence Prevention Professional (VPP) desired but not required.
- Ability to interpret regulatory standards and translate them into practical training content and organization guidance.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound clinical judgment and excellent clinical skills.
- Ability to solve problems by gathering and analyzing information.
- Experience developing and facilitating training for groups of 10 or more.
- Ability to navigate web‑based platforms for training facilitation.
- Experience working autonomously to complete tasks.
- Ability to handle a crisis and or potential risk situation and react appropriately.
- Working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as regulatory and compliance standards.
