Vascular Sonographer

Well established cardiology practice has an opening for registered Vascular Sonographer.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Prepares for examinations by checking equipment, taking inventory of supplies, replenishing stock as needed, reviewing physician orders and patient schedules, readying recording equipment and inputting patient information.
• Explains exam procedure, answering questions and providing ambulatory assistance.
• Produces high-quality imaging and accurately records examination details.
• Observes all safety policies and protocols.
• Maintains patient confidence.
• Keeps job-related knowledge up to date by taking advantage of educational opportunities, networking, and reading professional publications.

Skills and

Qualifications:

• Certified through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification preferred.
• Self-starting multitasker who easily adapts to change.
• Compassionate, professional communicator.

Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
