Tiello has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor in the Mechanicsburg, PA area on their search for a Site Superintendent with experience in commercial/industrial projects. The Superintendent will provide field supervision and management to ensure minimal disruption to our client’s staff and residents, that we deliver a high-quality product for a reasonable cost, and that the project is completed on schedule.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Altoona, PA
, for a Site Superintendent. The Site Superintendent will oversee daily construction site operations, manage subcontractors, ensure work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards, and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities include coordinating workflows, ensuring compliance with project specifications, inspecting progress, and resolving on-site challenges in collaboration with the project management team. The role requires effective communication with stakeholders and a dedication to maintaining efficiency and excellence throughout all stages of construction projects.
- Strong project management, scheduling, and leadership skills
- Experience with onsite operations, subcontractor coordination, and quality control
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and construction best practices
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Experience in construction management with a proven track record of site supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain professionalism in all interactions
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA and a valid driver’s license preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or industry-specific education is a plus
